BEGINNER HOOP GUIDE
If you are a beginner hooper I recommend you get at least a 32" hoop or bigger. The bigger the hoop the slower the rotation, helping you learn new tricks faster. The bigger hoops make learning on body hooping much easier and smaller hoops tend to work better for most off body tricks. I also recommend 3/4" tubing, polypro or HDPE will work. Adding grip tape to your hoop will prevent the hoop from slipping off your body, add it to help you nail those new tricks faster! (Adding grip tape is a separate listing in our shop) TUBING GUIDE This hoop is available in 5/8" or 3/4" tubing, the 5/8th tubing is for more experienced hoopers because it is lighter and will rotate faster than the 3/4" tubing. If you are a beginner, add grip tape (separate listing) to help you nail those new tricks. DIAMETER GUIDE Hoops are custom made to order and comes in your choice of diameter ranging from 24-38 inches. For new hoopers, a general guide for picking a hoops diameter right for you is to measure from your belly button to the floor in inches in the standing position (that number will give you the approximate diameter you should pick for your first hoop). If you have a small body type, go down a few inches in size and if you have a larger body type, go up a few inches in diameter when picking out your first hoop. Remember that the smaller the hoop is in diameter, the faster the rotation will be, so pick a smaller diameter hoop if you are more advanced or choose a larger diameter hoop if you are a beginner hooper. ***If you have questions about what size you need, please message me, I'll be happy to help! :)
